Crom Carmichael Weighs in on Chain of Custody Breaking Story in Cobb County, Georgia as Ballots Go Missing

 

Live from Music Row Monday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael to the studio to weigh in on the breaking news out of Georgia where the movement of ballots and and their chain-of-custody documents may have run afoul of state law.

Leahy: And that, Crom, is Martin Luther King III telling two lies, himself. First, when he claims that every independent review said that the election was fair – and it was not. And in fact, we have some stories that we’ve been reporting on that show that the election procedures were unlawful in several of these battleground states.

Also, he’s claiming that the election integrity laws that have passed are going to hurt brown and black voters. They’re not. They’re going to just make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.

Carmichael: Right. The last phrase is what all election laws ought to be. And if you look at what’s going on now for the recall election in California, you have the Secretary of State in California who has taken voter fraud to an entirely different level by claiming, this is now the way the recall election will be handled in California.

You can literally print your own ballot. And that is astounding to me that you can print your own ballot. 

Leahy: The potential for fraud is great, particularly with absentee ballots. Vote by mail, very high. 

Carmichael: Why will there be absentee ballots if you can print your own ballot. You don’t have to do anything. Just go online, I guess, and go to the Secretary of State and California, print a ballot. Put in your name or put in a name to put in a Social Security number.

Who knows if somebody’s got 100,000 Social Security numbers and names and they just go in and they just print ballots and scribble a name on the bottom of them and take them to some kind of a fake lockbox and just drop them off. There’ll be hundreds of thousands of votes.

Leahy: 20 million votes. They’re all by mail in the recall election, all of them. And so that’s exactly a problem. We’ll see how that plays out. Roger Simon is there and we’ll be reporting from California this Thursday.

And, of course, the results there will be known on September 14th. I want to draw your attention to a breaking investigative story that we’ve done.

As you know, The Tennessee Star, and The Star News Network in addition to The Tennessee Star Report radio program. We own and operate eight state-based news sites around the country.

In Georgia, we broke a story. Listen to this. 43,000 Absentee Ballot Votes Counted in DeKalb County, Georgia 2020 Election Violated Chain of Custody Rule. There were 61,000 absentee ballots deposited in drop boxes [in DeKalb County].

The emergency code rule passed by the state election board said that you have to document the movement of absentee ballots from these drop boxes into DeKalb County. I think there were, like, 20 of them.

Carmichael: Now, are these the Zuckerberg boxes?

Leahy: Yes, the Zuckerberg boxes. Two people would pick them up. How many they got the time they picked them up. And they’re supposed to give them to the Registrar immediately. Immediately.

To me, that sounds like an hour or less. And the Registrar is supposed to sign them. So there were 61,000 absentee ballots place in drop boxes into Dekalb County.

Carmichael: Add the two people who originally picked them up and sign for them are supposed to stay with the ballots, and both of them are to stay with and tell they’re handed off.

Leahy: That’s right. And what we found is and we filed a request. We got every ballot transfer form that documents at 725. You can link this to our story at Georgia Star News, and you can all 725 of these ballot transfer forms.

What we found is that 28,000 of these absentee ballots that were counted had chain of custody documents where they were picked up on one day and delivered the next day.

Carmichael: Well, there you go.

Leahy: But it’s worse. It gets worse.

Carmichael: Wow.

Leahy: 15,000 absentee ballots that were picked up by two workers on a certain day never were officially received by the Registrar.

Carmichael: But they were counted.

Leahy: They were counted. So the chain of custody is blown to smithereens.

Carmichael: So for these 43,000 ballots, it would have been very easy for the people who picked them up to be paid money to take them home and change them all.

Leahy: Absolutely. Overnight. They had them overnight.

Carmichael: They had them overnight.

Leahy: What were they deal All told of these 43,000 ballots, they were all counted in the certified results of the November third election, despite being clearly in violation of the chain of custody rules.

Now, what’s interesting about that is the certified margin of victory for Joe Biden in the entire state was only 11,779 votes. That’s out of five million cast.

This is just one of the 159 counties, the number of absentee ballots counted that violated the chain of custody rules was almost four times the statewide margin of victory of Joe Biden.

Carmichael: And that’s all you found so far.

Leahy: Well, that’s because it takes a long time to get these documents and a long time to analyze them. But you’re right.

Carmichael: What I’m saying is there are likely tens of thousands of additional ballots that have chain of custody issues or some kind of issues simply because when you look at circumstances and you can draw reasonable conclusions, you had six cities across the country where didn’t they close the counting in six cities all at the same time? And then five or six hours later, in those six cities, they started the counting again.

Leahy: Yes. And in DeKalb County, 78 percent of 89,000 absentee ballots we’re not transported immediately. Again, violating chain of custody rules. So we’re talking about 100,000 right there in those two counties out of 159.
